Program Structure

The Urology APP Fellowship features a comprehensive curriculum with rotations across various settings to give fellows a well-rounded experience in urology:

Inpatient Adult Urology (7 months)

At Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital, APP fellows engage in patient consultations, postoperative management, and active participation in surgical procedures. Responsibilities include conducting history and physical examinations, daily patient rounds, writing progress notes, entering admission orders, and assisting with procedures.

Outpatient Adult Urology (4 months)

This rotation encompasses the outpatient management of urological conditions, including preoperative and postoperative care. Fellows provide care in private offices and at the Edgewood Surgery Clinic, specifically on Tuesday mornings.

Pediatric Urology (1 month)

During this rotation, fellows will assist in surgical procedures within the operating room and gain exposure through shadowing efforts focused on pediatric urology management.
