St Luke’s Hospital – Anderson Campus Program

The Addiction Medicine Fellowship Program at St. Luke’s University Health Network is a one-year, ACGME-accredited multidisciplinary fellowship designed to provide comprehensive training in addiction medicine. The program on the Anderson Campus in Easton accepts two fellows each year, ensuring that the training is personalized and intensive.1

The fellowship is suitable for individuals who have completed an ACGME-accredited residency in Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Preventative Medicine, Anesthesiology, or Psychiatry. Fellows will learn from a diverse group of board-certified faculty from various specialties, giving them exposure to multimodal approaches for managing addiction and substance use disorders.1

The curriculum includes clinical training, educational conferences, weekly lectures, and journal clubs. The fellowship experience consists of a structured, hands-on clinical training approach where fellows progressively gain autonomy and competence in treating patients with substance use disorders.2

Rotations occur at multiple sites including St. Luke’s Bethlehem, Sacred Heart, Anderson Campuses, Penn Foundation, and Star Community Health. In particular, the Star Community Health site provides a longitudinal continuity of care clinic, offering fellows weekly clinical exposure equivalent to one month per year.2

To apply to the program, candidates must have completed an ACGME-accredited residency in one of the aforementioned fields and hold board certification or be board eligible in their respective specialty. The application process requires submitting a completed application via the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS), including a Curriculum Vitae (CV), Dean’s letter, letters of recommendation from two faculty members, medical school transcript, a personal statement limited to two pages, and USMLE or COMLEX scores through Step 3.5
