The MetroHealth System/Case Western Reserve University Program

The Psychiatry Residency Program at The MetroHealth System/Case Western Reserve University provides outstanding on-the-job training experiences, mentorship, and individualized education plans to prepare residents for successful careers as skilled psychiatrists. Here are some highlights of the program:

• Clinical training in a new, state-of-the-art 112-bed Behavioral Health Hospital.

Application Requirements: - Medical school transcripts and MSPE or Dean's Letter. - Minimum of three recent letters of recommendation. - Personal statement. - Minimum passing score on USMLE Step I and Step II. - For international applicants: recommended to have US clinical experience in psychiatry. - ECFMG certification if applicable. - Graduate within three years recommended.

The application deadline is January 31, and interviews are conducted virtually on Wednesdays from November through January.

Additionally, the program sponsors both J1 and H1B visas and is supportive of both US and International graduates.
