The University of California San Diego (UCSD) Family Medicine Residency Program is an urban academic program that combines training in a university-based health system with a strong commitment to community service. Application Requirements: - Application process is through ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service) - Application deadline is November 1st - Required documents include ERAS application, official transcript, curriculum vitae, personal statement, dean's letter, photo, USMLE and/or COMLEX scores, and three letters of recommendation - Foreign Medical School graduates need additional documentation such as ECFMG Certification, Postgraduate Training Authorization Letter from the Medical Board of California, and Permanent Resident Status or J-1 Visa - Clinical experience within the last 3 years is mandatory; research experience cannot substitute - All positions are matched through the National Residency Match Program (NRMP) - Interviews start from November and continue through January
