Application Requirements and Eligibility:
- Applicants must apply via ERAS by December 1st and enroll in the NRMP.
- J-1 visa sponsorship is available.
- A complete ERAS application includes three letters of recommendation, CV, personal statement, standard Dean’s letter, USMLE or COMLEX transcripts, photo, and medical school transcripts.
- A minimum score of 220 on USMLE or 480 on COMLEX exams is strongly encouraged, and it is preferable for these exams to be passed on the first attempt.
- Applicants are generally expected to be within five years of graduation from medical school, although exceptions may be considered with relevant post-graduate training or clinical practice.
- International Medical Graduates must provide proof of ECFMG eligibility for a J-1 visa by the time of ranking in the NRMP.
- A minimum of three months of US Clinical Experience is recommended but not strictly required.
