Hamilton Medical Center Program

The Family Medicine Residency Program at Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton, GA is a three-year comprehensive training program with ACGME initial accreditation. The program offers clinical experience in a diverse learning environment dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients. Residents will rotate through inpatient and ambulatory settings to ensure readiness for practice after completion of the program. The program aims to prepare residents to independently practice clinical excellence in family medicine across the patient's lifespan, promote understanding of social determinants of health, healthcare delivery system, and leadership skills, and foster continuous learning and experience expansion within the field of Family Medicine.

For prospective residents, the application deadline is December 1st, with interviews conducted virtually. International graduates must be ECFMG certified and eligible for J-1 visa sponsorship. Application requirements for U.S. allopathic or osteopathic medical school students include a CV, personal statement, transcript, letters of recommendation, and passing USMLE or COMLEX transcripts. Requirements for international students include ECFMG certification and U.S. clinical experience is recommended.
