The St. Agnes Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program is a community-based program located in Fresno, California. The program aims to produce Family Physicians who advocate for patients in diverse and underserved communities. Residents will be trained in comprehensive primary care, inpatient care, basic pediatrics, women's health, and basic obstetric care.

Application Requirements: - No minimum score cutoffs for USMLE or COMLEX exams, but preference for first-time pass. - No more than 1 failed attempt on USMLE Step 1 to be considered for an interview. - No failed attempts on USMLE Step 2CK and USMLE Step 2CS for ranking. - Require hands-on U.S. clinical experience for IMGs. - 3 Letters of Recommendation, preferably from a Family Medicine physician. - Graduation from medical school within 5 years for IMGs. - Visa: Accept ECFMG sponsored J-1 VISAS.

The curriculum of the program offers various tracks and rotations to align with residents' career goals. Residents will have the opportunity to choose tracks such as Primary Care Focus, Hospital Medicine Focus, Specialty Focus (OB, Sports Medicine), or Global Health Focus. Rotations include Inpatient Family Medicine Service, Nursing Home Care, Obstetrics, Pediatrics/Newborn, and Specialty Care Rotations.

The program supports scholarly activity, Mobile Health Curriculum, and participation in board review activities. Residents will receive an annual gross stipend with benefits including medical insurance, meal stipend, education reimbursement, and leaves. Vacation, educational days, and medical, parental, and caregiver leaves are provided. Additionally, there is onsite childcare available at the facility's Child Development Center.

For the 2023-2024 academic year, the stipends are: - PGY1: $67,184 - PGY2: $69,535 - PGY3: $71,969

The program will match 8 PGY-1 residents solely through the NRMP. The interview process will be conducted virtually via Zoom.
