The program is well-regarded nationally, drawing highly qualified applicants from across the country, particularly for competitive fields like Radiology, Ophthalmology, Anesthesiology, Dermatology, and more.

To be eligible for this program, candidates should have graduated from medical school within 12 months of application. For USMLE, scores of 210 or above on the first attempt are preferred, or a COMLEX score of 520 or greater. International medical graduates must be ECFMG certified and eligible to work in the United States.

Applications to the Transitional Residency Program must be made through ERAS. The selection process for interviews is competitive, with virtual interview opportunities for the academic year 2022-2023 due to the pandemic.
