The Unity Health Family Medicine Residency Program is a three-year ACGME-accredited program that offers hands-on experience across various specialties and subspecialties. The curriculum focuses on preparing residents for practicing family medicine in today's complex healthcare environment. Residents have the opportunity to rotate through different specialties, perform procedures, and engage in weekly didactics. The program also includes one-on-one rotations with sub-specialists and emphasizes scholarly activity through research projects.

The program accepts six applicants yearly and requires strong oral and written communication skills, USMLE scores of Step 1 – 200 and Step 2 – 209 or greater (or COMLEX scores), the Dean's letter or MSPE, three letters of recommendation, and ECGMG certification if applicable.

Unity Health considers applicants who are U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, and individuals with work authorizations that do not require visa sponsorship. The program does not support visas or offer observerships.
