Unity Health-White County Medical Center Program

The Unity Health-White County Medical Center Program is committed to providing a comprehensive three-year Internal Medicine Residency Program that prepares residents for careers in primary care internal medicine. The program boasts an ACGME accreditation and emphasizes teamwork among its faculty. Residents can expect exposure to a diverse range of pathology through subspecialty rotations at various medical sites, as well as the opportunity to engage in procedural experiences and point-of-care ultrasound training.

The didactic curriculum includes resources such as MKSAP (ACP), Yale Office Curriculum, Medstudy Audio Companion, and Rosh Review. Residents also benefit from a full simulation lab, ACLS scenarios, and the guidance of a dedicated director of scholarly activity for research projects and quality improvement initiatives.

Unity Health-White County Medical Center Program looks for talented internal medicine residents annually. Preferred applicant qualifications include excellent communication skills, specific USMLE or COMLEX score ranges, proximity to medical school graduation, a dean's letter or MSPE, three letters of recommendation, and, if applicable, ECGMG certification by a specified date.
