The curriculum progresses to incorporate experiences at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center in the second year and introduces rotations at Kaiser Permanente for high-volume general gynecologic surgery in the third year.

The fourth year offers chief resident responsibilities, including overseeing various services within the hospital. This final year prepares residents for independent practice while encouraging leadership and decision-making capabilities.
