The University of Louisville Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship is a three-year ACGME-accredited program designed to provide extensive training in the diagnosis and management of high-risk pregnancies, including maternal complications and fetal anomalies. As the only center in Louisville that offers genetic diagnosis through procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling, this program provides unique opportunities for fellows to develop expertise in this critical area of women's health.

Training encompasses a broad spectrum of surgical education, including cesarean hysterectomies, cerclages, periumbilical blood sampling, and intrauterine blood transfusions.
