The General Surgery Residency Program at Memorial Health University Medical Center, affiliated with Mercer University School of Medicine, is designed to equip residents with a comprehensive range of surgical skills necessary for competent practice in general surgery or for pursuing surgical subspecialty fellowships. This five-year, categorical residency program holds full accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and offers five new positions each year, totaling 25 residents at any given time.
