The Dermatology Residency Program at Medical City Fort Worth is a rigorous and accredited program designed to train the next generation of physicians and physician leaders. The program is a full-time course lasting a minimum of 36 months, with a minimum of 33 months dedicated to supervised patient management through clinical rotations.

This program accepts one resident per year with a total of three residents in the program. Residents have the opportunity to work alongside attending physicians in the general dermatology service, gaining exposure to a wide range of skin conditions.

The curriculum includes various rotations such as General Dermatology, Dermatopathology, Medical Dermatology, Dermatological Surgery (Mohs), Cosmetic Surgery, and Electives. Residents also have time dedicated to forming bonds with classmates and resting to prevent mental fatigue.
