Jefferson Health Medical Education/Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia Hospital Program

The Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program is dedicated to training future family physicians through a comprehensive approach that encompasses clinical education, medical research, and community health advocacy. Curriculum

As residents progress into their second and third years (PGY2 and PGY3), they participate in specialized rotations that further develop their skills and knowledge in areas including geriatrics, sports medicine, and behavioral health, alongside opportunities for community medicine and electives.

Training Sites

The primary training site is the Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia Hospital, a 548-bed tertiary-care teaching hospital characterized by an accredited Level I Regional Resource Trauma Center. Residents also practice at the main hub of the Family Medicine Residency Program at Einstein Family Medicine Logan Plaza, located within a 10-minute walking distance from the hospital. Additionally, the program collaborates with St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, where residents complete pediatric rotations.
