Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida Program

The Mount Sinai Medical Center Radiology Residency program in Miami Beach, FL, is a fully accredited four-year ACGME advanced program. They accept 5 residents per year through the NRMP match process, making a total of 20 residents in the program. Graduates are well-prepared for both academic and private practice settings. The residents experience a high volume of cases and a diverse range of pathology due to the rapidly expanding health system in the region.

Residents are immersed in diagnostic medical imaging through hands-on experience at the workstation, participation in daily case conferences, and lectures. There is a recurring two-year didactic curriculum covering various subspecialties. Residents rotate at Nicklaus Children's Hospital for pediatric imaging experience and participate in the month-long AIRP course in Washington DC.

During the program, residents undergo core rotations, including thoracic, body, neuroradiology, nuclear medicine, musculoskeletal imaging, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, breast imaging, interventional radiology, and pediatric imaging. There are dedicated call responsibilities, board exam preparation support, and the opportunity for mini-fellowships in the fourth year.

The faculty includes experienced professionals across various subspecialties such as musculoskeletal imaging, neuroradiology, vascular and interventional radiology, and breast imaging.

For those interested in applying, the program is part of the National Residency Matching Program. Application materials include a personal statement, CV, Dean's Letter, USMLE scores, three letters of recommendation, and transcripts. International medical graduates may require additional documentation.
