The Emergency Medicine residency program at Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc is an ACGME accredited 3-year training program. The program aims to provide a learning environment rooted in academic excellence in teaching and research to produce future leaders in Emergency Medicine. With a curriculum designed to cover the Core Curriculum of the ACGME EM RRC and other relevant topics, residents will have the opportunity to rotate through various renowned training facilities and work with a diverse patient population in Miami Beach. The program accepts 7 residents per year, with a total of 21 residents enrolled. Application requirements include a USMLE score of 220 or higher, graduation from medical school within the past five years, and at least one Standard Letter of Evaluation (SLOE) from an Emergency Medicine clerkship. The program supports only J-1 Visas for those requiring visas. The deadline for applying through ERAS is December 1st, and applications are considered only if enrolled in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).
