The AdventHealth Florida Emergency Medicine Residency Program based in Orlando is designed to provide comprehensive training in emergency medicine through a community-based hospital setting. The program serves a yearly patient census of approximately 85,000, providing residents with a rich exposure to the full spectrum of emergency medical cases. The program is open to candidates who hold a currently valid certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates or a full, unrestricted license to practice medicine in a relevant jurisdiction. Qualifications include graduates of North American medical schools or international medical schools that meet established criteria. Additionally, the program provides visa sponsorship for accepted applicants of H-1B and J-1 visas, creating an inclusive environment for both U.S. graduates and international medical graduates (IMGs).

The application process requires submission via the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS), and the program is noted to be competitive, attracting a large pool of candidates.
