Clinical Rotations

The curriculum for residents begins with an immersive first year (PGY1), which involves spending the entire year at NuHealth, with specific rotations as follows:

  • Obstetrics: 6 months (3 months day tour, 3 months night tour)
  • Gynecology Service: 3 months
  • Ambulatory Services: 3 months (includes Medicine, Breast Clinic, and Prenatal Diagnostic Unit)
  • ICU: 1 month

In subsequent years, PGY2-4 residents participate in a series of rotations, including but not limited to:

  • Gynecology Services
  • Family Planning
  • Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility
  • Gynecology Oncology
  • Antepartum Services

This structured rotation system ensures comprehensive exposure to essential areas of obstetrics and gynecology and fosters skill development in high-risk scenarios.
