Key facilities include a Level III NICU that manages about 800 admissions per year and a pediatric emergency department with approximately 33,000 visits annually. The Children's Hospital features various specialty clinics, such as cardiology, endocrinology, and hematology/oncology, providing residents ample opportunities for clinical exposure and hands-on experience.

Ambulatory Experience

Ambulatory training is a cornerstone of the program, with residents gaining significant experience in outpatient care. The Children’s Hospital Outpatient Center facilitates around 16,000 visits annually, allowing residents to develop continuity of care relationships with patients. This outpatient experience is further enhanced by rotations in adolescent health, school-based health, and multidisciplinary specialty clinics.
