• Cardiac Anesthesia: Involves participation in over 550 open-heart procedures and 150 percutaneous valve implantations annually. Residents work closely with attending anesthesiologists trained in transesophageal echocardiography.
• Pediatric Anesthesia: Residents engage in the care of pediatric patients at Hasbro Children’s Hospital, allowing involvement in high-complexity cases typically reserved for fellows at other institutions.
