Stony Brook Medicine Program

The Colon and Rectal Surgery Residency Program at Stony Brook Medicine offers a 1-year ACGME-accredited residency. The program aims to prepare surgeons for academic careers in colon and rectal surgery or private practice. Residents gain extensive experience in a variety of surgical procedures including reconstructive anorectal surgery, surgery for inflammatory bowel disease, colorectal cancer, and emergency colon resections.
