The USA Health Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program accepts three residents annually through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). The selection process is competitive, with consideration given to letters of recommendation, medical school performance, board scores, and clinical experience. There are specific prerequisites regarding examination scores and deadlines established to maintain a high standard of applicant quality.

International Medical Graduates (IMGs) and osteopathic physicians (DOs) are also welcome to apply, enhancing the diversity of the candidate pool. The program does not accept applications from students currently enrolled in or having graduated from foreign medical schools since the 2016 Match.
