• 12 months in Reconstructive Surgery and Microsurgery at the Royal Oak campus.
• 6 months dedicated to Hand Surgery.
• 1 month in Burn Surgery at Detroit Receiving Hospital.
• 2 months focusing on Oculoplastic Surgery.
• 2 months in Pediatric Craniofacial Surgery at Children’s Hospital of Michigan.
• 1 month elective rotation from designated sites.

Educational Activities

Visa types available for sponsorship typically include the J-1 and H-1B visas, thereby welcoming a broad spectrum of applicants.

The application process is highly competitive, and candidates must apply via the San Francisco Match system. Applicants are generally required to have completed their medical education within a specific time frame to ensure currency of knowledge, with preference given to those who have not exceeded one failed USMLE or COMLEX exam attempt.
