The Dermatology Residency at Corewell Health Farmington Hills Hospital is a comprehensive three-year program, accredited and collaboratively run with the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine (MSUCOM). Application Process and Requirements

The dermatology residency is a categorical match program through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP), requiring completion of a transitional year at Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital as part of the PGY-1 year. Applicants must submit their applications through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) if they seek to join the program. The selection committee reviews applications, and only candidates who receive invitations will be interviewed.

For osteopathic candidates, graduates of osteopathic medical schools can apply without additional prerequisites. Allopathic candidates must complete a month-long elective rotation with a specialist in Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) and submit an essay detailing their perspectives on OMT.
