Corewell Health (Farmington Hills) Program

The Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency at Corewell Health Farmington Hills Hospital is a comprehensive four-year program designed to train residents to provide full-spectrum care for women's health issues, including obstetrics and gynecology. Corewell Health Farmington Hills Hospital is a major teaching facility with a 330-bed capacity and Level II Trauma status. The program accepts two residents annually through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).

Application Process and Competitiveness

To apply for the program, candidates must be graduates of an approved college of osteopathic medicine or an LCME accredited college. The program has achieved ACGME Continued Accreditation, effective from April 26, 2024. Applications must be submitted through the ResidencyCAS platform, and only completed applications will be considered. Interviews are conducted with selected applicants, allowing for flexibility in scheduling, especially with respect to the receipt of letters of recommendation.

Corewell Health Farmington Hills is a competitive residency program, attracting both MD and DO applicants, including international medical graduates (IMGs). The program is considered relatively friendly towards DO candidates, as well as IMGs with strong academic backgrounds.
