Kettering Health Network Program

The OB/GYN Residency program at Kettering Health Network is a four-year program with 12 approved residency positions, training three residents each year. Residents have the opportunity to train at several locations throughout Kettering Health Network, including Kettering Health Washington Township, Kettering Health Dayton, and Kettering Health Main Campus, among others.

The program aims to produce highly qualified, competent, and compassionate Obstetrics and Gynecology physicians who are practice-ready. They prepare residents for competitive fellowship applications and subspecialty training. Residents are encouraged to engage in Quality Improvement initiatives and research in a community-based setting.

Graduates from the program have pursued subspecialty fellowship training in fields such as Urogynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine at reputable institutions like Mayo Clinic and University of Cincinnati. The program supports residents in presenting research at National Conferences and provides opportunities for further professional development through conferences and courses.

Successful applicants are typically those who have passed USMLE and COMLEX on the first attempt. The program requests three letters of recommendation, which may include the Standardized Letter of Evaluation (SLOE).
