Additionally, trainees have the opportunity to engage in numerous elective rotations at various affiliated hospitals such as Henry Ford Macomb and Children’s Hospital of Michigan.

Didactics and Education

The educational structure includes protected didactic sessions Monday through Friday. Key didactic activities comprise:

Application Process

Applications are exclusively accepted through the ERAS system. Key eligibility criteria include:

• Medical students from LCME or AOA accredited medical schools leading to MD or DO degrees.
• U.S. citizenship or legal residency with work eligibility in the U.S.

Applicants must submit a complete ERAS application that includes a medical school transcript, three letters of recommendation, a personal statement, USMLE or COMLEX examination scores, and a curriculum vitae.
