• 2 months of Pediatric Surgery at Children's Hospital of Michigan

• 2 months of Hepatobiliary Surgery at McLaren Flint

Through these rotations, residents gain extensive surgical experience, coupled with a robust two months in Trauma-SICU at Sinai Grace Hospital, allowing for critical care exposure.

Additionally, the program emphasizes didactic learning with 4 hours of protected educational time per week, including:

• Weekly Morbidity & Mortality conferences
• Monthly Journal Clubs
• Regular General Surgery Education days organized by Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine (MSUCOM)
