Shannon Medical Center Program

The Shannon Family Medicine Residency Program is a community-based program committed to full-scope family medicine. Affiliated with the Texas A&M University School of Medicine, residents have access to the latest research and academic resources. For application requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, have graduated from medical school within the last ten years, meet certain licensing requirements, have passed Step 1 and Step 2 exams, be proficient in English, and have at least one year of U.S. clinical experience. International graduates must be certified by the ECFMG.
