The St. Luke’s Categorical Pediatric Residency Program is a new three-year ACGME accredited training program based at St. Luke’s Anderson Campus in Easton, Pennsylvania. The program aims to train physicians in providing exceptional care and leadership in Pediatrics. Residents will have comprehensive educational experiences in all areas of Pediatrics and will work across various hospital campuses.
The program offers a diverse experience with integrated Epic ambulatory and inpatient EMR systems across multiple hospital campuses and outpatient pediatric offices. St. Luke's University Hospital Network is renowned for training over 400 GME Residents and Fellows in various specialties.
The pediatric residency program integrates rotations at different St. Luke's campuses, including St. Luke’s Bethlehem, St. Luke’s Easton, and the Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. Continuity clinic will be at the St. Luke’s Star Community Health Sigal Center outpatient pediatric clinic in Allentown, PA.
The program follows the American Board of Pediatrics board certification requirements and aims to produce competent physicians through a structured educational environment aligned with ACGME core competencies. Residents will engage in inpatient and outpatient rotations, electives, subspecialty experiences, and community medicine.
The program's faculty includes experienced physicians in various pediatric specialties who are dedicated to resident education and mentorship. The curriculum includes inpatient pediatrics, subspecialty electives, NICU, community medicine, and scholarly activity sessions.
St. Luke's Pediatric Residency Program offers a competitive salary structure, with increasing amounts as residents progress through each post-graduate year. International medical graduates must submit ECFMG certification for consideration.
Applicants are required to apply through ERAS and are selected for interviews based on their application materials.
