The Family Medicine Residency Program at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, DE is an ACGME accredited program that welcomed its first class of 4 residents in July 2023. The program offers a comprehensive experience in the full spectrum of family medicine.

Application requirements for the program differ for U.S. Medical School Graduates and International Medical Graduates. U.S. Medical School Graduates must have graduated from a LCME or COCA accredited medical school within the past five years. International Medical Graduates must be graduates of an accredited medical school, have a Certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG), and have completed at least six months of U.S. clinical experience. Beebe Healthcare sponsors J1 visas on a case-by-case basis for international medical graduates.
Please note that the program only accepts applications through the Electronic Residency Application Services (ERAS) and participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).
The program also offers a unique opportunity for residents to participate in moonlighting activities in their second year with permission from the Program Director and DIO. Additionally, residents have flexibility in scheduling elective rotations in various specialties.
