TidalHealth Program

The TidalHealth General Surgery Residency Program aims to provide comprehensive training focused on quality, service, and community care. Residents will learn from experienced faculty, engage in practice-based research, utilize advanced technology, and benefit from a state-of-the-art simulation center. The curriculum integrates five years of training to develop independent surgical skills, sound judgment, and effective communication with patients and caregivers.

Application Requirements: - ERAS submission required. - Documents needed include a CV, three letters of recommendation, personal statement, medical school transcripts, MSPE, and passing scores on Step 1 and Step 2 of the licensing exam (USMLE or COMLEX).

The program offers diverse surgical rotations each year, with residents gaining exposure to various specialties, including Bariatrics, Vascular, Trauma, and more. TidalHealth Residents have the opportunity to rotate through prestigious medical centers like Johns Hopkins, University of Maryland, and Children's National Medical Center.
