The Surgery Residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center is designed to provide comprehensive training in general surgery, with the aim of producing graduates who are capable of independent surgical practice and may pursue various fellowships if desired. Applicants are required to have a USMLE score of 220 or above on both Steps I and II, or a COMLEX score of 500 or above on both Steps 1 and II.
