International Medical Graduates (IMGs) are welcomed in the program; however, they are required to be ECFMG certified before the end of the interview season. The program currently only sponsors J-1 visas, making it essential for international candidates to understand visa sponsorship requirements.

The Transitional Year Program is highly competitive; however, it is friendly toward DO applicants and IMGs. While U.S. clinical experience is preferred, it is not a strict requirement for application.

The resident salaries for the 2023-2024 academic year are as follows: PGY-1: $58,261; PGY-2: $59,995; PGY-3: $61,916. Residents receive comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, vacation allowances, and educational stipends for conference fees and travel.
