Application Process and Competitiveness

Applicants must use the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) to submit their applications, which are accepted from September 15 to December 1. To qualify for consideration, candidates must have graduated from an LCME-accredited medical school and provide three letters of recommendation. The program only sponsors J-1 visas, and no H-1b visa sponsorship is offered.5

Applicants must have recent graduation from medical school (within four years) and proof of passing scores on USMLE/COMLEX. While no strict requirement exists for US clinical experience, a minimum of three months is highly recommended for a competitive edge.6
