The Conway Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program, affiliated with Campbell University, offers 24 positions, accepting 8 residents per year. It commenced with its first residents in July 2020. The program provides a comprehensive clinical experience with residents building their continuity clinic patient panel over 3 years, participating in core outpatient and inpatient rotations, and fulfilling all subspecialty rotation requirements outlined by ACGME.

Didactics are a key focus with a weekly half-day schedule dedicated to protected time for lectures, case presentations, book club, journal club, and board reviews. Residents also engage in activities like monthly morbidity and mortality conference, Tumor board, as well as daily morning reports and patient rounds while on the inpatient medicine service.

Located in a culturally diverse coastal community in South Carolina, the program aims to provide a full spectrum learning environment meeting all primary care needs of the residents. For inquiries about the residency program, interested individuals can email [email protected]. Dr. Donald W. Morando serves as the Program Director.
