Florida State University College of Medicine Program

The Florida State University College of Medicine Transitional Year Residency Program at BayCare Health System in Winter Haven aims to provide a broad-based program of graduate medical education in multiple clinical disciplines. They must also provide a personal statement, Medical School Performance Evaluation (MSPE) or Dean's Letter, and for international medical graduates, an ECFMG Certificate. Eligibility for ranking necessitates receiving Step 2CK and CS scores before the NRMP rank list deadline. Additionally, applicants must have a minimum of six months of U.S. clinical experience and be eligible to obtain a medical license in accordance with the Department of Health/Medical Quality Assurance division of the Florida Board of Medicine.
