The Mount Auburn Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program offers a comprehensive educational experience designed to prepare residents for successful careers in internal medicine. Application Process

The Mount Auburn Internal Medicine Residency typically accepts 14 categorical and 8 preliminary interns each year. Applicants must register with the National Resident Matching Program and submit their materials via the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Important requirements include completion of the common application form, curriculum vitae, medical school transcript, and letters of recommendation. Candidates must pass the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Step 1 and Step 2 CK or the Comprehensive Osteopathic Medical Licensing Examination (COMLEX) for DO candidates. International Medical Graduates (IMG) must be ECFMG certified for consideration.

Visa Support

The program provides J-1 visa sponsorship through the Education Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) for suitable international candidates. However, new H1-B visa sponsorship is not available.
