It is recommended that international applicants have four months of clinical experience at accredited U.S. institutions and attain ECFMG certification.7

Application Competitiveness and Requirements

As a highly competitive pediatric residency program, the University of Colorado receives more than 1,500 applications annually. Applicants are required to submit a completed ERAS application, including a CV, letters of recommendation, a medical school transcript, and USMLE scores. The program does not accept late applications, and specific scores and previous experiences are strongly considered during the selection process.8
