This is Loyola University Medical Center's Anesthesiology Residency Program.

Application to the Loyola Anesthesiology program for the 2023-2024 cycle involves utilizing the Central Application platform along with ERAS. They accept International Medical Graduates, specifically ECFMG-sponsored J1 and J2 visas. The program requires six months of US clinical experience and accepts COMLEX scores and DO applicants. It does not have a specific deadline but offers interviews on a rolling basis. Three recommendation letters are mandatory, and applicants must be two years or less post-graduation.

The program's comprehensive training encompasses a Clinical Base Year followed by various rotations, including anesthesia and subspecialized areas like cardiothoracic, pediatric, and chronic pain management. Residents have access to research opportunities, academic lectures, awards, and mentorship programs.

The program does not have specific limitations on the number of attempts on Step exams but notes that multiple attempts could disadvantage candidates.
