The Transitional Year Residency Program at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) aims to provide residents with the necessary training for their next level of medical training. The MUSC Transitional Year Residency Program offers a curriculum with exposure to common medical issues in both hospital and ambulatory settings. The curriculum consists of 10 five-week blocks, including rotations in Family Medicine Inpatient Service, Emergency Medicine, Ambulatory Care, and Electives. Elective options cover various specialties such as Radiology, Dermatology, Geriatrics, and more.
