Corewell Health East (Farmington Hills) Program

The Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery program at Beaumont Hospital, Farmington Hills is a five-year residency program, including a tracked internship. Established in 1979, it is accredited by the ACGME. Residents at Beaumont Hospital, Farmington Hills receive wide exposure to various techniques in managing head and neck pathology, pediatric ENT, head and neck trauma, airway emergencies, and post-operative patient care. The program includes participation in Statewide Campus System Otolaryngology Symposiums covering various topics.

Residents are responsible for providing Emergency Department call and inpatient consultation services, supervised by attending physicians. The program features a structured curriculum with rotations in different specialties of ENT, research opportunities, elective rotations, and additional funding for educational resources such as in-service exams and study courses.

Alumni of the program have pursued diverse career paths including private practices in different states and fellowships in various subspecialties of Otolaryngology. The faculty at Beaumont Hospital, Farmington Hills consists of board-certified specialists in Otorhinolaryngology & Orofacial Plastic Surgery, who oversee all teaching functions within the program.
