You’re not paranoid if you don’t trust it. You’re awake.

Admin loves AI right now: “efficiency,” “innovation,” “strategic initiative,” “our competitors are already using this.” You’re the one whose name goes in the chart, whose license is on the line, whose patient is in the bed. So when leadership pushes a new AI system you don’t trust—CDS, imaging triage, “note assistant,” predictive risk scoring—your job is not to be “a team player.”

Your job is to be safe, informed, and very, very deliberate.

If you can’t answer those, you have no business relying on it.
